For the price, they sound wonderful! They were broke in within a week or less (I play probably 30 min to 60 min a day). I have really not had to tune these at all since then. I will be ordering another set of these very soon for my electric violin and another set as a back up. I also recommended these strings to my violin student who is in desperate need of new strings. The bluegrass fiddle is strung with Dominants, and the old time fiddle with Helicores. I put Helicores on the old time fiddle so I could cross tune it without having to worry about breaking strings. They sound so good I'm considering replacing the Dominants on my other fiddle as well. Good strings. Stable, retune easily and hold a tuning quickly.
